My experience learning english

Hi, welcome to my last blog, today I'm going to talk about all the thing that I learned this semester, I think that my I really improved my English with all the exercises that we had to do during this past few weeks, I didn't have the chance to practice this much, with all the blog and videos I did my best to practice my grammar and spelling.  About the blogs, I really liked the experience of knowing more about my others classmates opinions and experiences, they were all super fun to read, it was like to meet them during this online classes but not directly speaking. How I said before, one of my biggest weaknesses in English is to speak and to have a fluid conversation with another person, so that will be my goal for the future. Outside my English classes, I usually try to talk in English with my girlfriend, just to practice a few sentences and how we should pronounce them correctly, as I said in the previous post, we were planning to travel in a few months, so I will be practi

My opinion about my career

When I started studying sociology, it called my attention that all the subject were theoretical during the first year, anyhow  today  I agree that in the first year it might start with the theory part at the beginning, but I think that I  there is not enough practical programmes for us, and as a sociologist I think it is a very important factor that we should know about, and how to interact with the people directly. Talking about the workload on my career, I think that every work that you made will be as good as the time that you spent working on it, so I agree with that as a student, also with the length of studies (5 years in the best case). Otherwise, I'm not happy about the infrastructure of my faculty, inside the same university, there is others faculties like Beauchef´s  that their building and installations  are minimum 4 times better than mine, this is not acceptable in a state university that it declares as an  inclusive and pluralistic.                            FACSO Uc

Hello guys! Welcome to my blog, today I will write about the place that I would like to visit  this summer. I am planning my first trip with my girlfriend  to Europe, we are so excited about this, and because of that we want to go as many places as possible. Our plans today are to land in Rome to go to see my mom, and all together travel to the north of Italy, specially to Florence, Milan, and of course, Venice, after that, we would like to go to Amsterdam, Paris, Praga, and Barcelona for sure, maybe we can add other destinations, we will know that soon, we haven't planned that part really well yet.                         Venice The main places we want to know are, obviously the Coliseum in Rome, the Cathedral of Santa Maria dei Fiore in Florence, the Venice Canals, the Louvre museum in Paris, the basílic of Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, and the Castle of Praga. This last place is the one that interests me the most, thats because it is one of the largest and most important gothic

Crop Circles

Since 1678 exists evidence about geometric figures that appear in the crops (of wheat, grapes, corn, and others) and the grass -until today there is a presence of more than a ten thousand-. This circles are symmetrical and perfect, their dimension depends on the case, but they can take almost a hectare of extension -most of them are very big-. The testimonials of the witnesses indicate that the figures appear overnight, and some people say they are created by circles of light expanded in the air, however, all hypotheses about its appearance have not been confirmed. People think that these kinds of figures are made  by humans  but  they can't give a rational explanation to that reason, because none of them will do that by their own initiative. Another theory will be that these amazing drawings are made by UFOs. These creations are so popular for a lot of people  and some of them feel attracted to see them ,and because  of that a few owners  decide  to collect money so the people

Hi guys! Welcome to my blog, today I'm going to talk to you about what I would like to study after my current career and why, I'm a senior student of Sociology and I want to take a postgraduate course on Economics and  one of the reasons why is because I think it's a fantastic complement to my career, to understand politics and society. Furthermore, I believe that to take a postgraduate course increase your chances to have a nice labor integration. Universitat de Barcelona Additionally, to that hopefully I have a few family members living there, so it would be really easy for me to stay with them, so I can go to my classes in person and to enjoy the country completely, and just because  during the pandemic this last few months I've been at home going to my classes via zoom, and It's not that cool at all, specially considering that most of my classes are theoretical and that makes it pretty boring for me.                         Barcelona, España T

My Future Job

For me, my future job is essential to feel fulfilled, that work  should have some sense, not just to be a way to get money. Because of that I want to be a social researcher. Social investigation -in my opinion- contributes to create a fairer society. Another fundamental thing for me is to enjoy this job, and I always enjoyed being outside in the real world. In that sense, the type of social investigation that I want to do is perfect for me, because it consists of a lot of field work. I don't want to be on a computer all day.   Loic Wacquant doing field work in Chicago I would like to travel a lot with my job, between different regions and countries, getting to know different cultures. Traveling On the other hand, wh en I thought about this job, I didn't see the salary like a fundamental thing. However, I perceive that the salary of a researcher in general is good in comparison to the major part of the

How I got to Sociology

Hello guys! Welcome to my blog! Today I'll be  telling you about my experience choosing my career and studying it. For me, it was very difficult to choose one, I finished high school on 2014, and I started studying  Architecture on 2015, and it was not what I expected,  it required dedication and also a lot of time, what made had few sleepless nights. Because of that, I left the career during the second semester.                                                       FAU, where I studied architecture At the end of the year, I applied  to Bachillerato in humanities, because I knew that I wanted to study a career in the humanist area, but I didn't know if I wanted Sociology specifically, Anthropology, or Psychology. In the Bachillerato I decided very quickly that Sociology was the career for me, I really liked their topics since the  beginning. Because of that, I decided to left Bachillerato and applied for Sociology  -via PSU- on 2017. Now I am in my senior year, and I feel that
